DittoDub, Inc. ("DittoDub," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you use our websites, applications, APIs, integrations, managed services, and related products and services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, team, network, or other organization, that organization may provide us with information about you, control your access to the Services, or have access to certain account and content information associated with your use of the Services.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect or process through the Services, in our business operations, and in our communications with users, customers, prospective customers, vendors, partners, and others. It does not apply to:
- third-party websites, services, or apps that are not controlled by DittoDub;
- information processed on behalf of enterprise customers where a separate agreement allocates privacy responsibilities differently; or
- information subject to a separate privacy notice that expressly supersedes this Privacy Policy.
3. Personal Information We Collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services, which features you use, and the settings and permissions you choose.
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
We may collect:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, phone number, username, profile information, company name, role, preferences, and notification settings;
- Authentication and verification information, such as password-related records, one-time passcode records, sign-in provider identifiers, authentication tokens, verification status, and similar account security information;
- Billing and transaction information, such as billing address, subscription plan, payment status, invoices, tax information, and payment processor customer or transaction identifiers. Payment card details are generally collected and processed by our payment processors rather than stored by DittoDub;
- Customer Content, such as uploaded or linked source media, project names, descriptions, tags, prompts, instructions, selected languages, transcripts, subtitles, translations, localized metadata, thumbnails, channel assets, and related materials;
- Voice and audio data, if you use voice-related features, such as audio recordings, voice samples, custom voice inputs, synthesis settings, voice clone or model identifiers, prompts, and generated audio outputs;
- Communications and support data, such as emails, messages, support requests, onboarding information, feedback, surveys, and any information you provide during troubleshooting or managed service engagements; and
- Information submitted in connection with promotions, referrals, partnerships, or affiliates, including referral or attribution information and information needed to administer those programs.
3.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device, browser, and network information, such as IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, language settings, time zone, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar technical information;
- Usage and log information, such as pages viewed, features used, account actions, project activity, API requests, timestamps, error logs, crash data, diagnostics, and performance information;
- Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies, including session IDs, browser IDs, Google Analytics identifiers, advertising and attribution identifiers, and other online identifiers;
- Marketing and attribution data, such as UTM parameters, referrer data, campaign information, click identifiers (for example, gclid, gbraid, and wbraid), Meta _fbp and _fbc values, Reddit pixel signals, consent signals, and affiliate or referral codes; and
- Security and abuse-prevention information, such as signals used to detect suspicious logins, rate-limit abuse, fraudulent activity, or other misuse.
3.3 Information From Third Parties and Connected Services
We may receive information from:
- Identity and sign-in providers, such as Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in through those services;
- Connected platforms and integrations, such as YouTube or Google services, when you authorize us to access channel, account, or content information to provide integration features;
- Payment processors, such as Stripe, which may provide transaction confirmations, subscription status, customer IDs, dispute information, and fraud-prevention signals;
- Advertising, analytics, and attribution partners, which may provide or help us infer marketing attribution, traffic source, and ad campaign performance information;
- Your organization, team administrators, or other authorized users, if they provision your account, invite you to a workspace, or upload or share content with you; and
- Service providers and vendors, who may assist with support, security, cloud hosting, communications, or other business functions.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support the Services;
- create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and prevent unauthorized access;
- process projects, generate and deliver Outputs, and carry out your instructions;
- provide dubbing, translation, localization, subtitling, voice generation, API, integration, and managed studio features;
- connect and operate third-party integrations you authorize;
- process payments, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, credits, promotions, and referrals;
- communicate with you about the Services, billing, updates, support, and account matters;
- personalize user experience and remember preferences;
- monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, debug errors, improve service quality, and develop or enhance product features;
- train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our machine learning, AI, and related technologies, including models and systems used across customers, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement with you;
- investigate abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, detect fraud, and protect users, DittoDub, and third parties;
- measure marketing and ad performance, conduct attribution, and, where permitted, show or optimize marketing;
- comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect legal rights, and maintain appropriate business records; and
- facilitate corporate transactions such as financings, audits, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, or sales of assets.
We may also use de-identified or aggregated information for lawful business purposes, including analytics, service improvement, benchmarking, and reporting.
5. Lawful Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
If data protection law requires us to identify a lawful basis for processing your personal information, we generally rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the Services you request or to perform our contract with you;
- Legitimate interests: processing necessary for our legitimate interests, such as securing and improving the Services, running our business, preventing abuse, and communicating with users, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent: processing based on your consent, such as when you choose to connect certain integrations or where consent is required for certain cookies or marketing activities; and
- Legal obligation: processing necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful process, or regulatory obligations.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
6.1 Service Providers and Subprocessors
We may disclose personal information to vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services and our business, including providers of:
- hosting, cloud infrastructure, storage, and content delivery;
- payment processing and billing;
- authentication and identity verification;
- analytics, logging, monitoring, and diagnostics;
- communications, email, and customer support;
- security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection;
- translation, transcription, dubbing, voice, or other technical processing services;
- marketing, attribution, and advertising measurement; and
- professional services such as legal, accounting, audit, and insurance support.
6.2 Connected Platforms and Integrations
If you choose to connect Google, YouTube, Apple, or another third-party service, we may disclose or receive information as necessary to operate that integration and to perform the actions you authorize.
6.3 Your Organization or Authorized Users
If you use the Services as part of a team, network, enterprise, or managed account, workspace administrators and other authorized users may have access to account information, project information, and related content associated with your organization's workspace.
6.4 Corporate Transactions and Advisors
We may disclose personal information in connection with an actual or proposed financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, as well as to our professional advisors involved in those matters.
6.5 Legal, Safety, and Rights Protection
We may disclose personal information when we believe doing so is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful governmental request;
- enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
- protect the rights, property, safety, or security of DittoDub, our users, or others;
- detect, investigate, or respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, or illegal activity; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
7. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services. Depending on the property and applicable law, these technologies may be used for:
- essential website and application functionality;
- authentication and session management;
- security and fraud prevention;
- remembering preferences and settings;
- analytics and measurement;
- attribution and conversion tracking; and
- advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our websites and applications may use or integrate with technologies from providers such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, Reddit, Stripe, and similar vendors. These technologies may collect identifiers and information about your interactions with the Services and other digital properties over time, subject to applicable law and your settings.
You can usually control cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
Legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals are not uniformly recognized. Where required by applicable law, we treat qualifying opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as opt-out requests for the browser or device that sends the signal.
8. Google, YouTube, Apple, and Other Social or Sign-In Services
If you use Google sign-in, Apple sign-in, YouTube integrations, or similar third-party login or API features, we may collect information made available by those services, such as your name, email address, account identifiers, profile information, authorized scopes, channel or account metadata, or content needed to provide the requested integration feature.
If you authorize YouTube or Google access:
- the Services may use YouTube API Services and other Google APIs to provide functionality;
- our use of Google user data is subject to applicable Google API Services terms and policies, including limited use requirements;
- we will use Google user data only for the specific functionality you authorize and as disclosed in this Privacy Policy and any in-product notices;
- we do not sell Google user data or use Google user data obtained through restricted or sensitive scopes for generalized advertising;
- if we materially change how we use Google user data, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, obtain additional consent; and
- you can revoke DittoDub's access through your Google account security settings or by disconnecting the integration in the Services where available.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sign-in or API providers. Please review their own privacy policies and terms.
9. Voice Data, Sensitive Data, and AI-Related Processing
If you use voice cloning, text-to-speech, dubbing, or other voice-related features, we may process voice recordings, voice samples, transcripts, prompts, settings, and generated Outputs to provide the Services, improve quality, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our machine learning, AI, and related technologies, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, support users, and protect safety and legal compliance.
Some jurisdictions may treat certain audio, voice, or derived technical data as sensitive or biometric data. DittoDub does not use voice data to identify natural persons for unrelated surveillance or identity profiling unless expressly disclosed to you. If we materially change our handling of voice-related data, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notices or choices required by law.
Customer Content and voice samples may be used to provide, secure, maintain, debug, support, quality assure, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve the Services and our machine learning, AI, and related technologies, including general-purpose or shared models and systems used across customers, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement with you.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our business and users.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the context in which it was collected. For example:
- we generally retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter;
- we retain billing, transaction, and tax records for the periods required by law and standard accounting practices;
- we retain Customer Content, Outputs, and voice-related information for as long as needed to provide the Services, enable redelivery or regeneration, support users, investigate abuse, maintain backups, and satisfy contractual or legal obligations; and
- we may retain logs, analytics data, and security records for shorter or longer periods depending on operational needs, legal obligations, and risk management.
When we no longer need personal information, we will delete, de-identify, or anonymize it, unless retention is required or permitted by law, backup systems, dispute resolution needs, fraud prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, devices, and network environment.
12. International Data Transfers
DittoDub is based in the United States and may process personal information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction.
Where required by law, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections or other recognized transfer mechanisms.
13. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally sufficient parental consent. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without the required consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with a parent's or legal guardian's permission and supervision.

14. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and the Services you use, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- access or know what personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information, subject to applicable exceptions;
- obtain a copy of certain personal information in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law; and
- appeal the denial of certain privacy requests where applicable law provides that right.
You may also have choices regarding:
- Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe using the instructions in the message;
- Cookies and ad technologies: you can use browser settings and device settings;
- Account information: you can access, correct, or update certain account information through your account settings; and
- Integrations: you can disconnect certain integrations through your account settings or the third-party provider.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us at contact@dittodub.com and provide enough information for us to understand and verify your request. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of users where permitted by law.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal, where applicable law provides that right.
15. California Supplemental Notice
This Section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies to DittoDub's processing.
15.1 Categories of Personal Information
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- identifiers and contact information;
- account credentials and related customer records information;
- commercial information, such as subscription and transaction history;
- Internet or other electronic network activity information;
- approximate geolocation derived from IP address;
- audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, including uploaded media, support materials, and generated Outputs;
- professional or employment-related information when provided in a business context; and
- inferences drawn from personal information, such as preferences or likely interests.
We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 3 and use and disclose them for the purposes described in Sections 4 through 9.
15.2 Sale or Sharing
DittoDub does not sell personal information for money. We may, however, disclose identifiers, online identifiers, Internet or other electronic network activity information, commercial information, and advertising or attribution data to analytics and advertising partners in ways that may constitute "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under California and other U.S. privacy laws, depending on the context, your settings, and applicable law.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the opt-in consent required by applicable law.
15.3 Sensitive Personal Information
To the extent we collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law, we use or disclose it only for purposes permitted by law, such as providing the Services, securing accounts, preventing fraud, debugging, quality assurance, and complying with legal obligations, unless we separately disclose additional uses. If applicable law gives you the right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, you may submit that request using the contact methods in this Privacy Policy or through any privacy choices tool we make available.
15.4 California Rights
Subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to:
- know and access categories and specific pieces of personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;
- opt out of sale or sharing;
- limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information;
- receive personal information in a portable format; and
- not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
California residents may also request information under California's "Shine the Light" law regarding certain disclosures to third parties for direct marketing purposes, if applicable.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version and update the "Last Updated" date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice.
