What is a DittoDub workspace?

A workspace is a child account inside a parent organization. It keeps projects, team members, usage, notifications, integrations, and processing activity separate from the parent and other child workspaces. Its minutes can come from the parent plan or a separate subscription.

Who can create or manage workspaces?

Only admins on the parent account can create, edit, or archive child workspaces.

Who can access a child workspace?

Members of the parent account can access every child workspace. Someone invited directly to a child workspace can access only that workspace and cannot see the parent or its siblings.

Does every workspace need separate billing?

No. When creating a workspace, a parent admin can share the parent plan or choose separate billing. Shared-plan workspaces draw from the parent's available minutes while their usage remains attributed to the workspace.

Can a workspace have its own team?

Yes. Each workspace has a separate Team page. Child workspace admins can manage that workspace's members and roles without changing the parent team.

How do workspace notifications work?

Notifications belong to the workspace where the activity happened. Parent account members have access to the child, but must opt in before receiving that child's notifications and emails.

Can I create workspaces inside another workspace?

Not currently. DittoDub workspaces support one parent-to-child level so the organization stays easy to understand.

What happens when I archive a workspace?

The workspace disappears from the switcher while its projects, usage, billing history, and team data remain preserved. A parent admin can restore it later. If it uses separate billing with an active subscription, cancel that subscription before archiving.

How to create a workspace

From idea to its own account in three steps.

Only parent account admins can create or manage workspaces.

Open Account → Workspaces

From the parent account, open the Workspaces page and choose Create workspace.

Choose how it uses the plan

Add a name and image, then share the parent plan or choose separate billing and monthly minutes.

Create it and invite the team

A shared-plan workspace is ready immediately. If you chose separate billing, finish its subscription setup before processing work.
