Step 1: Uploading the Video
- Click the blue plus button to add a YouTube URL or upload a video file.
- Select your preferred language and dialect.
- Hit the "Generate Transcript" button.
Step 2: Verifying the Transcript
- Once your project says verify transcript, click on the video to validate the auto generated transcript.
- Play through the video to verify the text's accuracy.
- Assign speakers by clicking on "Create Voice" and selecting the appropriate name and gender for gendered languages like Spanish.
- Verify text, speakers, and timing throughout the video.
Step 3: Editing the Transcript
- Adjust timing by clicking and dragging the slider or using arrow keys.
- Split phrases if needed by hitting the enter key.
- Merge phrases together using the delete/backspace key on the start of the text box, or hit the merge button to the right.
- Keep phrases relatively grouped to ensure better accuracy and flow.
- Use symbols like dashes to indicate pauses.
Step 4: Saving and Validating
- Use the save button to ensure progress isn't lost.
- Hit the "Validate" button to confirm the transcripts accuracy.
